Dubai based Sekurus International LLC, manufacturer and supplier of SekurTrack, fleet management devices launched its new fuel sensors as part of the total solution to counter the ever increasing fuel costs.
Beside tracking, locating and managing fleets, Sekurus International’s integrated solutions has brought the solution for one of the biggest problems that are facing any company that have a fleet running out on the road “Fuel Consumption”
The first and major reason of more fuel consumption is “Over Speeding”. On average a vehicle traveling 10 mph faster than the speed limit increases fuel consumption by 20%. Driving 20 mph over the limit increases consumption to 25% where with Sekurtrack – Fleet over speeding can be one button away to control. As when there will be an event of over speed the device will send an alert to the concerned party in order to take the needed action.
On the other hand Off Route Driving is another reason of excessive fuel consumption. When a driver leaves his scheduled route in order to do a personal business while on duty would be extremely costly to the company as the driver is wasting your time not forgetting the fuel. Sekurtrack – Fleet system will monitor traveled routes, including start/stop locations and times.
Excessive Idling during summer time in order to keep the AC on is one of the main reasons of more fuel consumption. For every hour a vehicle is idling, a gallon of gas is consumed. Moreover, excessive idling causes unnecessary wear and maintenance on engines, an expense that can be easily monitored and reduced or even eliminated with our fleet management solution”. “Sekurtrack-Fleet is a powerful, flexible, and affordable package that is used by a wide array of industries to help fleet managers respond to customer needs and manage assets using the workflow they are accustomed to.
